CSS Agency are looking for skilled Subsea Survey Personnel for Inspection and various Survey Roles;
Location: Sakhalin Island
Based: Offshore/Onshore
Duration: Potential 5-year project
Start Date: November 2018
- Shallow Seabed Technical Representative
A Shallow Seabed Tech Rep shall be an individual with a minimum of five years geophysical field experience, familiar with;
- Side-scan Sonar (SSS)
- Multibeam Echosounder (MBES)
- Sub-bottom Profiler (SBP)
- Magnetometer (MAG)
- Safety, Security, Health, and Environment Representative
A SSH&E Rep shall be an individual with a minimum of five years marine safety management-related field experience, preferably who also has knowledge of various marine survey operations, familiar with;
- OIMS systems and procedures
- SSH&E (Safety, Security, Health and Environmental) Reporting Standard and procedures
- Offshore Lead Quality Control Representative
The Lead QC Rep shall be an individual with a minimum of five years marine geophysical field experience who has knowledge of shallow seabed and/or seismic acquisition techniques, geophysical equipment operations, and positioning, familiar with;
- OIMS systems and procedures
- SSH&E (Safety, Security, Health and Environmental) Reporting Standard and procedures
- Technical Quality Control Representative – 2D, 3D, 4D Seismic
The TECH QC Representative shall be an individual with a minimum of five years marine geophysical field experience, familiar with;
- Single- and multi-streamer, single- and multi-component
- 2D and 3D/4D seismic data acquisition equipment and techniques
- OIMS systems and procedures
- SSH&E (Safety, Security, Health and Environmental) Reporting Standard and procedures
- Navigation Quality Control Representative
The NAV QC Representative shall be an individual with a minimum of five years marine geophysical field experience who has detailed knowledge of geodetics and navigation and positioning operations, familiar with;
- Single- and multi-streamer, single- and multi-component
- 2D and 3D/4D seismic data acquisition equipment and techniques
- OIMS systems and procedures
- SSH&E (Safety, Security, Health and Environmental) Reporting Standard and procedures
- Geotechnical Quality Control Representative
A Geotech Rep shall be an individual with a minimum of five years geotechnical field experience who has knowledge of geotechnical sampling, testing, and engineering techniques, familiar with;
- OIMS systems and procedures
- SSH&E (Safety, Security, Health and Environmental) Reporting Standard and procedures
- Assistant Project Supervisor
The Assistant project Supervisor shall be an individual with a minimum of five years geophysical, geotechnical, and/or navigation field experience, and a minimum of two (2) years in a project management position, familiar with;
- OIMS systems and procedures
- SSH&E (Safety, Security, Health and Environmental) Reporting Standard and procedures
- Marine Mammal Observer
The MMO is to keep watch for marine mammals during survey operations. This individual must be trained at observing and identifying marine mammals offshore Sakhalin Island, familiar with;
- SHE (Safety, Health and Environmental) Reporting Standards
- Technical Audit Engineer, Seismic
An individual with a minimum of five (5) years geophysical field experience and knowledge of seismic acquisition techniques, seismic equipment operations, and capable of testing/auditing the recording and source instrumentation, familiar with;
- SHE (Safety, Health and Environmental) Reporting Standards
- Onboard Seismic Data Processing QC Representative
A DP QC representative shall be an individual with a minimum of five (5) years geophysical field experience who has knowledge of seismic data processing techniques relevant to the defined work scope, familiar with;
- SHE (Safety, Health and Environmental) Reporting Standards
