The company have been actively involved in various local charitable fundraising events over the past year including: Jersey Hospice, MacMillan Jersey, After Breast Cancer Support, Mustard Seed Jersey and Family Nursing & Home Care.

As part of our long-term commitment to CSR we plan to provide continual support to several local charities in 2018;

Jersey Marine Conservation

CSS is proud to be offering financial support to Jersey Marine Conservation in their plight to ensure the waters in Jersey and surrounding Islands remain harmonious and prosperous.

A fairly new charity, set up to support the local marine environment by; raising awareness by gathering information about marine habitats, plants and animals in the seas around the Island of Jersey

Plastic Free Jersey

CSS pledged to exchange three plastic items currently used everyday in the office as part of this great cause; Plastic water bottles have been removed, to be replaced with proper glasses. Plastic carrier bags have been removed, to be replaced with CSS branded cotton bags. And finally, plastic water bottles have been replaced with Phthalate/BPA free reusable bottles.

The NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) 

CSS Limited were delighted to sponsor the Family Race Day at Goodwood back in June 2017 and again in June 2018.

The NSPCC are the leading children’s charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man, helping children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk and finding the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.

Jersey Rugby Club (under 14’s)

CSS recently showed their support for the Jersey Rugby Club Under 14’s  Rugby Team by agreeing a 3-year sponsorship to fund the purchase of new team bibs, training equipment and contribute towards travel expenses to away games.

The under 14’s team is part of the Minis and Juniors at Jersey Reds Rugby Football Club based here in Jersey, Channel Islands.

Caring Cooks of Jersey

CSS employees, wear their branded aprons with pride when they regularly volunteer to cook meals and bake cakes for families in need as part of the Caring Cooks of Jersey weekly meal service.

The service was set up 2 years ago to provide homemade meals for families through times of hardship, serious illness or financial challenges.

Design and Technology Department at De La Salle School

CSS are proud to assist in the learning and development within Jersey, by purchasing a new CNC machine for the DT department at the school.

This machine will enable the students at the school to complete multiple projects throughout all Keys Stage’s from year 5 all the way up to producing prototypes in year 13.
