Position: 3.4U Inspection Engineer (x2)

Location: Esbjerg, Denmark (Operating in German Waters, outside 12nm)

Planned Travel Date: 21st July 2025

Trip Duration: 3 Weeks

Overview:

We are seeking two experienced 3.4U Inspection Engineers for a 3-week offshore wind turbine inspection project, operating out of Esbjerg, Denmark, in German waters (outside 12nm). The role involves conducting General Visual Inspections (GVI) and Cathodic Protection (CP) surveys using ROV systems, with a focus on wind turbine substructures.

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform GVI and CP inspections on offshore wind turbine substructures using ROV systems.
• Operate and oversee Tiger ROV for inspection tasks, ensuring high-quality data collection.
• Utilize Digital Edge software for real-time data processing and reporting.
• Conduct inspections in compliance with 3.4U certification standards.
• Maintain accurate logs and produce detailed inspection reports for client deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to offshore safety protocols and project requirements.

 
Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification: Valid 3.4U Inspection Engineer certification (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in offshore ROV inspection, with specific experience in wind turbine GVI/CP surveys.
• GWO First Aid or STCW STCW approved first aid course

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Digital Edge software for inspection data management.
• Hands-on experience operating Tiger ROV or similar compact ROV systems.
• Knowledge of cathodic protection systems and subsea inspection techniques.
