Position Title: QHSE Manager

Location: Saudi Arabia

Employment Type: Full-Time

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Oversee QHSE teams across multiple projects, ensuring effective coordination and performance.
• Improve and expand QHSE processes and systems to align with industry best practices.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams on QHSE-related matters.
• Lead internal and external audit programs, ensuring timely resolution of non-conformities.
• Prepare and present periodic and annual QHSE performance reports to senior management.
• Communicate QHSE initiatives, risks, and issues to stakeholders, fostering awareness and engagement.
• Manage site-specific risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with local and international standards.

Technical Profile Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a Health and Safety Manager role.
• Proven expertise in developing and fostering a robust structure and culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS).
• Strong background in people management and team leadership.
• Auditor training and experience in leading QHSE audits.
• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally for short periods.

Required Certifications:

• Chartered Membership (CMIOSH).
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.

Language Proficiencies:

• Fluent proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage but not required.

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a high-pressure environment.
